Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Orlando to Open Location in Downtown Avalon Park
Soft Opening Set for August 2, 2021, Grand Opening Set for August 14, 2021
Orlando, FL (June 8, 2021) – Avalon Park Group announced today that Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Orlando has leased 2,333 SF of retail space at 3873 Avalon Park East Blvd., Orlando, FL 32828, in the heart of Downtown Avalon Park. The soft opening date has been set for August 2nd, with a grand opening event scheduled for August 14th.
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Orlando, owned by James Bejer, an Orlando native, and U.S. Navy veteran, will provide high-quality self-defense training and education to all ages of adults and children. This self-defense system is based on the Gracie University curriculum and has been tested and proven successful for over a hundred years around the world. The curriculum and structure for this program include an online education platform through Gracie University.
“Born and raised in east Orlando, Avalon Park is the perfect community to give me the opportunity to serve the town I grew up in,” said Bejer. “Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Orlando will be a place where kids will be empowered, and adults will be equipped with self-defense techniques. There are only 190 Gracie University Certified Training Centers (CTC) around the world, and this will be the first CTC in Orlando!”
