Come and enjoy a night of crafting and socializing. Arrive as early as 6:30 to find your spot and grab some snacks. Crafting begins at 7pm.
Ages 12 & up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. EVERYONE is required to purchase a ticket. To ensure everyone has a relaxing and creative experience, we ask that all participants be at a stage where they can settle in and focus on their craft for the duration of the session.
Unwind and get creative at our Craft Night Social hosted by Fluttering Shutters Photography! This is a relaxed space to work on our simple craft project while enjoying the company of fellow crafters. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking to enjoy a simple craft, all skill levels are welcome.
Supplies needed to complete the craft will be provided but of course you can bring things to add your own special touch. A list of supplies are listed below. Kits are purchased way in advance and can not be altered in any way.
What’s included in each kit?
- 1 of the Seasonal Wood Cutout Kit. For this kit, you will receive 1 of each of these, wooden mason jar, “Mason” oval cutout, and galvanized metal rim piece
- Tools– Small brush, sander, etc.
- Fun Embellishments – Ribbons, buttons, raffia or other finishing touches that are part of the kit. In this kit you will receive 3 pieced of greenery, 1 star on a stick, 1 bamboo scewer and fabric for flag.
What will be available to use/share?
- Shared Red/White/Blue Paints…however, please feel free to bring your own special colors if you prefer.
- Tools– sponges to paint larger spaces and glue will be shared
- Hair Dryer to help dry your paint quicker…there will be a couple to share
- Scissors
- Baby Wipes to help keep your hands clean
Other Supplies you can bring
- Scissors…there will be a few pair that can be shared
- Paper/Decoupage/Brushes if you prefer this over painting
- Paint and different size brushes…want to paint your craft a different color? Feel free to bring any colors you prefer. We’ll have Red, White and Blue paint available for this craft.
- Paint Clothes/apron…we use acrylic paints so please do what you need to protect your clothes
- Cute Fabric or other fun embellishments to add a special touch to your craft
